For this brief, we had to design an A3 black and white poster to advertise ‘Buy Nothing Day,’ the adbusters campaign that fights consumerism. The project was focused around type, layout and the psychology around the placement of words and images. We created distinctive letterforms by cutting and pasting letters together. Here's a rough sketch of my buy nothing day logo:

We also had a 'skills workshop' in screen printing - which was fascinating. We created screen prints out of stencils of consumerist images we had drawn and cut out.

I liked the final print, but i wish there had been different colours to use, as i don't think ours really went together. I really enjoyed the process though.
